Maplewood Farm

Building Community through Creativity

Maplewood Farm is a small woman-owned fiber farm in the Quiet Corner of northeastern Connecticut.  I raise a spinners flock of sheep, a colorful herd of angora goats, and delightfully fluffy Jersey Wooly rabbits.

Each animal on the farm has a purpose and contributes an essential product that is vital to the function and sustainability of the farm.  The sheep, goats, and rabbits produce fibers that are used for spinning, weaving, knitting, and felting.

If you're interested in purchasing yarn, roving, woven items, pelts, and other farm goods, you can find me at the Sturbridge Farmers Market or can stop by my seasonal farm stand on Fridays from noon until 6pm.  You may also visit the farm by booking an Airbnb Experience.  More info on all of these under the respective tabs.
