WHO ARE WE?
Maplewood Farm is a little 1700s cape house and the fields and forest that surround it. We bought the property in May 2016 and have been building barns, tilling gardens, and erecting fences nonstop ever since. Building this farm has been a tremendous undertaking and through this adventure we've found friendship and support in so many likeminded friends in the community. We are so grateful to be on this journey.
Over the past 3 years we have been extremely diversified raising pigs, ducks, geese, chickens, rabbits, goats, and sheep for meat. Our breadth of experience has shown us that maybe we're a little too old and a little too tired to do everything. We've decided that our future of our meat production lies in lamb and rabbit. We have plenty available for purchase so email us if you're interested in trying some of our delicious products.
WHAT DO WE OFFER?
In addition to meat, we also sell fiber and farm products at several points throughout the year. We teach needle felting classes, sell ducklings and bunnies, and make visits around the community to teach children about our farm animals.
