We often refer to Burrows Farm, in Woodstock, as our sister farm. We share the same animal husbandry practices and care for our animals together. We also run our businesses congruently in order to offer a wider range of products. You will see us together at Farmers Markets and Fiber Festivals selling our beautiful fiber goods.
Charlie and Erika Burrows established their farm in 2020 after adding sheep, pigs, and rabbits to their little homestead the previous year. They soon realized that their hobby farm was a growing endeavor that would provide more meat and fiber than what their small family would use and decided to turn their farmstead into a business. Erika continues to work full time at The Center of Hope while Charlie works as an engineer at UMass. On the weekends, it's not unusual to find Charlie "in" his beehives while Erika is working to process the fruits, vegetables, and meats their farm provides.
